MAC HYD H-2200
MAC Hydraulic Elevators are powered by a piston system installed at the bottom of the elevator shaft. The elevator ascends when hydraulic fluid is forced into the piston by an electric motor.
These elevators are best suited for low-rise buildings with 2–8 floors and operate at a maximum speed of 200 feet per minute. The machine room is typically located at the lowest level adjacent to the shaft.
Hydraulic Configurations
- Conventional Hydraulic: Uses a sheave extending below the pit floor to accommodate piston movement. Maximum travel distance is approximately 60 feet.
- Hole-less Hydraulic: Features pistons on either side of the cabin and does not require a pit hole. Travel distance ranges from 20 to 50 feet depending on piston type.
